Color: Faint yellow
Molecular formula: MSiO2nAl2O3XH2O
Features: Chemical property stable, insoluble in any solvent except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid, flame-resisting. Good thermal stability. Compared with fine-pored silica, silica- alumina gel has better surface polarity, adsorption and separation.
Application: Silica-alumina gel is widely used as adsorbent as it has high specific surface, strong drying ability. In comparison with fine pored silica, it has better performance and services longer with high compressive strength and low abrasion.
Silica Alumina gel is mainly used for:
Dry compressed air
Dry natural gas
Dry gas
Dry liquid water that may exist in liquefied gas system. It is suggested that put about 20% (weight ratio) HY-W aluminum silicon as a protective layer when using.
Particle size: 2-5mm, 2-4mm, 3-5mm, 1-3mm and etc.
