NaturCare Nisin
NaturCare Nisin is produced through fermentation of the bacterium Lactococcus Lactis.
Natural preservation and protection against gram-positive spoilage and pathogens bacteria outgrowth (e.g. listeria, enterococcus, bacillus sporothermodurans and clostridium).
Often applied as selective antimicrobial agent in blend with other preservatives.
Applications: dairy (processed cheeses, yogurts, others), bakery, meats, beverages, beer, convenience and health foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, feed.
Also known as E234.
