Trade Lead Description:
When you have an interested and qualified buyer, seller will first need to know 3 things: what product they need, the quantity/volume and if they need a spot or contract. Buyer must show their corporate profile, desired specs, and logistics. I will then set up a call with seller and the buyer to qualify the buyer’s interest, logistics and ability to move the product. The larger the volume the buyer is able to pick up the better the price discount that they will be able to negotiate with the seller.
It is important for your buyer to know that our seller maintains a line of credit that allows for the pulling of product from 3 major refineries—Shell, Valero and Conocco Phillips. Seller activates the line of credit when its confirmed that there is a committed buyer. As such, seller is bearing the up front risk to pull the product. Therefore seller asks that the buyer guarantees payment for the first lift only. Seller also has license to import product from PDVSA
