Royal Begum Effendi Honey is the rarest natural wild honey and difficult to find and only available in the mountains of Swat, Pakistan. The colour is much darker than any honey in the world. The Royal Begum Effendi Honeys are harvested from the deep forests of Northern Swat.
Northern Swat hosts one of the oldest high altitude rainforests in the world - Over 60 million years old. For example Malam Jabba or Kalam National forest is more than 80 million years old. Some rainforest species have populations that number in the millions and living in limited areas, most of these species are endemic, or found nowhere else on earth like Swat's wild bees.
