B. Dike Vapour Barrier as part of the internal lining will help to reduce the rate of heat lost by convection through the building fabric.
C. Dike Vapour Barrier will particularly apply to ‘vapour open’ constructions where a breather membrane is specified externally. Thus the roof/wall can both insulate the indoor vapour and drain the internal vapour, so as to protect structural durability and the thermal performance of insulation materials.
