Reverse Osmosis Treatment technique originated in America in 50's of the last century, in 80’s got extended and widely used in our country. Along with the rapid development of Chinese economy, it is capable of the new integrated technique for the combination of the traditional water pretreatment technics with the EDI desalination system. The principle is that when pressure is added to the inlet side of the concentrated solution, which is large enough to overcome the natural osmosis pressure, the natural flow could be reversed. This reversal allows the concentrated solution to be diluted after water molecules in the inlet side migrates through certain membranes further and allows purified water to be produced. This technique features to be most accurate, advanced and energy saving membrane type liquid separation. The membrane is capable of rejecting almost all dissolubility salt as well as organism that have a molecular weight greater than 100, and enables the reduction of dissolved salts in excess of 98%.
