These doors uniqueness comes from the electromechanical lock and its control that are Solid 55's patented development. The system is based on electronic locking, which increases the security level. Its major advantage compared to other locking systems is the invisible locking. Nobody in no way can see that there is an additional locking mechanism, which increases the security level of the whole system.
The Intelligent Protection System (iPS) is based on electromechanical lock built-in in the security door's leaf and is controlled by a contactless card (RFID). This way of control requires a transponder reader to be built-in in addition to the electromechanical lock. When the card is near the reader the system reads the information it holds and compares it with that saved in the data base after which access is granted or denied. The identification number of each contactless card is unique and it is impossible to be duplicated. The entry and deletion of cards from the system is done only with a special programming card that is kept by the door's owner. The system works with power supply 220V, which is transformed into 12V. For its reliable functioning we added an emergency power supply (12V accumulator battery), which guarantees flawless work of the system for 24 hours.
A Second generation electromechanical lock is one of the latest company developments. This is a locking system with increased security level ensuring 5 point locking. The main difference with the first generation electromechanical lock is the executive mechanism and identified emergency unlocking. The second generation electromechanical lock is installed in 50 Series doors and is offered as a main 5 points locking mechanism.
