We are the members of ProfitNet in 2009. We were lied to and defrauded by the directors of ProfitNet, Professor Robert Taylor of the Leadership Centre, University of KwaZulu-Natal and Shaun Gannon of CENTRIM, Brighton University (shown in the photos).
ProfitNet, via fraud Gannon, was given 60 000 GBP by the British Council to run ProfitNet in SA in 2009, 15 000 of which was for our business groups in Pietermaritzburg. Thief Robert Taylor was (is still?) the financial manager of ProfitNet in South Africa. We did not see the benefit of one penny of that money. All we got from them was lies and deceit. Our staff were not paid for the entire year, our operating costs were not refunded and the directors made many, many promises which never materialised.
With hindsight we realise that they never intended to honour their commitments to us and were just in it to enrich themselves.
We are posting this message as a warning to other businesses. We want to ensure that no other businesses, in South Africa or anywhere else in the world, get conned by these dirty fraudsters who lied to us, took the money given by the British Council to run our groups but never used any of it whatsoever for the purposes for which it was intended.
Don't believe the lies and bull they put on the web about how successful they are. It's all a con.
We urge you please to be careful of these fraudsters. Be very wary of ProfitNet if you get approached to either join a ProfitNet group or purchase a ProfitNet licence to run the programme yourself.
Rob Taylor and Shaun Gannon are dirty con artists and we think they should be in prison.
