In 2010, Spicul S.A. has put into operation a ultramodern plant, produced in Germany for manufacture of starch and wheat gluten. This project is unique both in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe. The factory was built and designed by one of the leading manufacturers of equipment for the food industry worldwide and features the latest technology in the field. Processing capacity is up to 100 tons of flour / day, resulting in about 53-55 tons of starch / day, 6-7 tons of gluten / day, and a product called "Food noble," which is used as a feed product livestock industry, aquaculture and fisheries, a product with great nutritional value and protein. The next step will be the opening of foreign markets on both East and West relations. Expanding portfolio, compliance with product quality and meet the needs of diverse consumers as are the priorities of the company's SPICUL.
