Monarch (India) Pvt. Ltd. was set up in
1984 to manufacture variety of biscuits.
Initially, the company started the activity
with one baking oven. Subsequently,
another baking oven was installed in 1986
with Term Loan from W.B.F.C. and Working
Capital Loan from Allahabad Bank,
Industrial Finance Branch, Calcutta. The
Term Loan was repaid in full in 1996 when
the Working Capital Loan account was
taken over by our N. S. Road Branch in
December’ 1996 from Allahabad Bank.
Since inception, the unit has been running
with profit. Under the effective control and
supervision of company’s present two
Directors viz. Sharvasree Gyarsilal
Choudhary and Shri Shrigopal Choudhary,
well known personality in the biscuit
industry in the Eastern Region, the unit
has not to look back. Rather under the
control of the present management
another biscuit unit namely M/s. Swadist
Biscuits Pvt. Ltd. and also a Cold Storage
namely M/s. Bansal Brothers Pvt. Ltd. are
running smoothly with persistent
profitability
